Heart of The Father!

We are so thankful for the time God has allowed us to be in Monroeville, Alabama. To be honest, it's very difficult leaving. We have added numerous church family members, developed incredible friendships, met some amazing people/business owners, and have grown rather fond of the area in general. When you say "Yes!" to God, you never know what He will do. We're truly humbled He chooses to share His heart with us (His children) for the people of this world.

We will be forever connected to the wonderful people of Monroeville. We're so grateful for the opportunities we've been given while we've been here. These kind, loving, welcoming, never-met-a-stranger type of people have touched our hearts in ways they will never completely know. They will always remain family to us, as well as in our thoughts and prayers.

During our time in Alabama, we have learned about the history of this area, the toll a departing business can have on a small town, and the dramatic affects Covid had here, among other things. When you're from a large city, you tend to see only within your immediate circle. However, in a small community where everyone knows everyone, it can be very impactful. It's by no accident God sent us here.

Leaving any place can be hard, especially when you don't always get to see the complete fulfillment of your prayers. However, we know God has, and will continue, to do His mighty works in the lives of this community of Monroeville, Alabama. (1 Corinthians 3:5-8). We pray that we demonstrated God's heart to those we have encountered along the way.

The folks of Monroeville, Alabama have definitely demonstrated to us southern hospitality at its finest. We have had the honor of attending, speaking, and praying for multiple people at several local churches. We've enjoyed numerous church functions and shared many delicious meals, laughter and tears. Saying goodbye to those we've grown to love is definitely tough. Undoubtably, God's heart is for these remarkable people of Monroeville, Alabama. We're just so incredibly blessed that we got to be a part of sharing it.

"Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! Therefore the world does not know us, because it did not know Him. 2 Beloved, now we are children of God; and it has not yet been revealed what we shall be, but we know that when He is revealed, we shall be like Him, for we shall see Him as He is. 3 And everyone who has this hope in Him purifies himself, just as He is pure." ~ 1 John 3:1-3
